Hiking
Our Alpenhof Wolayersee is ideally located for your hiking vacation in Lesachtal. Various hiking trails starts right on the doorstep of the hiking hotel Alpenhof Wolayersee.
The Wolayertal hiking area alone (also known as “Carinthia’s flower mountain”, or the “Mussen”, which you can climb directly from the hotel) offers many hiking opportunities. You hike past meadows, forests and rustic huts and enjoy the magnificent view of the Lesach Valley and the surrounding peaks in the Carnic Alps and the Lienz Dolomites. The Lesach Valley is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Austria for a reason.
Family vacation
Your family vacation at the Alpenhof Wolayersee should be an unforgettable time for big and small guests. Children can use our spacious children’s playground in front of our main house with sandpit, climbing frame, slide, table tennis. playhouse and much more.
Mountainbiking
Whether rapid descents, challenging climbs or leisurely forest trails. In the Lesachtal vacation region, both beginners and professional bikers will be fully satisfied.
Climbing
Climbing enthusiasts have wonderful opportunities for single or multi-pitch routes of all levels of difficulty. Alpine classics secured with bolts can be found in the Wolayersee area. You can try 10 different routes reaching from the 3rd to the 7th difficulty level.
Kayaking, rafting, canyoning and much more

Ski tours
Experience winter away from the slopes!
The mountains of the Carnic Alps and the Lienz Dolomites invite you with untracked deep snow.
This is an exhausting but also unforgettable winter experience that awaits you here in Lesachtal.
The Lesachtal lies at over 1000m and offers guaranteed snow from the beginning of December to the end of April.
Snowshoe hiking
Snowshoeing in the Lesachtal valley – that sounds like peace and relaxation in wintry splendor.
Not only does it sound like it, it actually is.
Switching off in the great outdoors and sending your mind and soul on a journey of relaxation is possible in the tranquillity of the Lesachtal Valley. Snowshoes are available to hire from us!

Our hotel has its own toboggan run!
Toboggans can be borrowed from us depending on availability!
